Seed St Beret with Flower Decrease
Submitted by admin on Tue, 12/06/2011 - 16:08
I fell in love when I discovered this lovely beret. It is easy to knit in seed st, and will hold it's shape. What is special is the flower pattern created by the decrease stiches.

This video is a two part visual guide that compliments a Beret knitting pattern by The Casting On Couch. It explains row by row the decrease details forming this leaf motif at the crown.
Offset Rib Scarf: Free Knitting Patterns
Another classic from Essentials for the Forces Vintage 1040's knitting. This easy scarf uses an offset rib stitch.

It's this easy to knit: To have their exact size you need a gauge of 6 sts to an inch. Cast on 58 sts. Pattern: K4, p4 across row ending with k2. Repeat that on every row until you are 50" long. Bind off.
